Vicki Sue Schrader passed away Friday, May 20.

Vicki Sue Schrader, age 64 of rural Bridgeport, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 in Vincennes, IN at Good Samaritan Hospital. She was born in Lawrenceville on April 30, 1952 to Harold and Donna (Adams) Wells.

Her husband of 33 years, Lloyd Schrader, survives. She married him on August 7, 1982.

Vicki was a member of the First United Methodist Church of St. Francisville, was Chaplin of the Christian Motorcycle Association, the Lawrence County Home Extension, and she was a loving homemaker to her family. She had become active in the Great Banquet. Vicki was the bookkeeper for Schrader Farms. She also owned and operated a travel agency and other small businesses with her close friend, Judy Phipps. Vicki traveled to area schools and spoke to students as an advocate for Inhalant Awareness.

Surviving family includes: her husband- Lloyd Schrader of rural Bridgeport: her mother- Donna Wells of Bridgeport: four children- Woody Rousey and his wife Rita of Bridgeport, Traci Ladson and her husband Bryan of Lawrenceville, Matthew Schrader and his wife Kristi of Mt. Carmel, and Jennifer Ault and her husband John of St. Francisville: two brothers- Buck Wells of Lawrenceville and Tony Wells of Bridgeport: eight grandchildren-Shelby Rousey, Laurel, Shea, and Evan Jennings, Daisy and Samuel Schrader, and Jaylynn and Jaren Ault: and one great-grandson- Garin Jennings.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wells, and one son, J.D. Rousey.

A funeral service for Vicki Sue Schrader will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in St. Francisville. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at the church. Burial will take place in Bethel Cemetery. Cunningham Funeral Home of Bridgeport is handling the arrangements.
