Applications being accepted for community foundation monies…
The Knox County Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2016 Community Good grant cycle.
Interim Foundation Director Mary Smith says this is the open grant cycle for charitable organizations seeking funding. Grants are normally given as one-time support of a project. However, applications can be made for additional support or for expansions of an initial project.
Funds are awarded to charitable partners located in or directly serving Knox County.
Applications must be completed online via the Foundation’s website at www.knoxcountyfoundation.org and must be submitted by midnight on Friday, July 1, 2016.

During last year’s Community Good grant cycle, grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 were awarded to charitable projects benefiting ten agencies.
