Phyllis Deisher, 77, of Vincennes, passed away May 12, 2016.

 

 

Phyllis Deisher, 77, of Vincennes, passed away May 12, 2016, at Good Samaritan Hospital. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Phyllis had worked as a teacher’s aide at Tecumseh School, and in the housekeeping department at Crestview Convalescent Center. She was a member of the Bethlehem General Baptist Church, and the Cousins Club. Phyllis made wedding cakes for each of her grandchildren and several friends.

Born February 26, 1939 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of George Franklin Crouch and Helen (Potter) Crouch – Watts. Her parents; her husband, Randy E. Deisher whom she married Sept. 5, 1953, and who passed away Aug. 4, 2012; her step-father, Sylvester Watts; brothers, Jack Saucerman, David Crouch, and Raymond Watts; a sister, Georgia Hedge; an infant sister; and two grandchildren preceded her.

Surviving are her children, Randy Lee Deisher and his wife, Teresa, of Vincennes, Keith Deisher and his wife, Michelle, of Vincennes, Sue Roark and her husband, Norman, of Bruceville, IN, Theresa Thompson and her husband, Jeff, of Lawrenceville, IL, and Mary Deisher; her brothers and sisters, Albert “Bud” Crouch, Vonda Blessinger, John Watts, and Margaret Wiley; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, at 2:00, at Goodwin Funeral Home. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 12:00 – 2:00 at the funeral home.
