Vincennes Board of Works receives 4 bids to extend the road from Hart to Main.
Bids for the Kimmell Road Extension Project have officially been opened.
The project which will extend Kimmell Road from Hart to Main Street.
The Vincennes Board of Works yesterday received bids from Wabash Utilities, Kerns Excavating, Milestone Contractors, and Regal Construction Inc. Kerns had the low bid at 2.1 million dollars.
City Engineer John Sprague says the next step is for the Board of Works to take the bids under advisement.
Sprague will review the bids and make a recommendation at the next Board of Works meeting in two weeks.
