Lori A. Gossett, age 51, of Lawrenceville, Illinois, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at her residence.
She was born April 18, 1965, in Lawrenceville, the daughter of Steve Goff and Dolores Kathleen (Stallard) LeGout. She married Charles Gossett on March 1, 1996, and he survives.
Lori was a homemaker. She was a member of Pinkstaff United Methodist Church.
Preceding Lori in death were her mother, her grandmother Myrtle Stallard, her aunt Jeanie Cunningham and an uncle Danny Stallard.
Survivors include her husband, Charles, of Lawrenceville, two sons, Chris Hannel of Vincennes, Indiana and Scott Hannel of Lawrenceville; three daughters, Maryann Gossett of Evansville, Leta Jo Stanker and her husband Chris of Vincennes, Indiana, and Charlie Rene’ Mathis and her husband Derek of Kentucky; two brothers Eddie Goff and Steve Goff, Jr., both of Iowa; a special uncle, Francis Stallard, who was like a father to her, as well as nine grandchildren, Braxton, Jaeden, Kayven, Sara, Michael, Axton, Ledger, Mary Beth and Roran.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday at the Lawrenceville City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:30 PM Saturday at the Emmons-Macey & Steffey Funeral Home in Lawrenceville.
