Arrests for possession, resisting and battery on police reported on Sunday…

-29-year-old Amanda Brittany Carson of Vincennes was arrested at 1 this morning at 6th and Executive Boulevard for operating while intoxicated, possession of paraphernalia and possession of synthetic marijuana.

-Last night at just before midnight, Vincennes police arrested Emma I. Chamberland when they went to 514 South 9th to investigate a drug complaint.  Chamberland was jailed for possession of paraphernalia.

-A traffic stop for speeding led to the arrest of a Vincennes man on drug related charges. Around 3:30 Sunday afternoon Vincennes Police stopped a car driven by 24-year-old Richalson Marmontel in the 600 Block of Willow Street. Richalson became combatitive with officers and eventually placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle by a police K-9 unit found marijuana in the car. Marmontel is facing charges of resisting law enforcement, battery on a police officer and possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Knox County jail.

-27-year-old Levi Tackett of Sullivan was arrested by Vincennes Police around 1 am Sunday. Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 520 South 7th Street. Tackett is facing charges of battery on a police officer, battery on an officer by bodily waste, resisting law enforcement and disordely conduct. Police say Tackett was also cited for a work release violation.

-Vincennes Police arrested a local man early Sunday morning on a Knox County Warrant for Failure to Appear. 33-year-old Stacey Lynn Phillips was located at a residence in the 500 block of South 7th Street and taken into custody.

-Vincennes University Police arrested 22-year-old Pete Troy McGhee of Anderson on Sunday.  Charges included criminal trespassing and resisting law enforcement. Bond was set at $4000.

-The Knox County Sheriff’s Department took Brian Desmond Roberson-Miller into custody on Sunday.  The 22-year-old with an and b Indianapolis address was charged on a warrant for failure to appear.

-Bicknell Police arrested a Bicknell Woman on numerous charges on Sunday.  35-year-old Casey Dawn Griffith was jailed for possession of paraphernalia, operating while intoxicated and driving while suspended.
