Marietta Loos Wagoner, age 89 of Lawrenceville, passed away early Sunday morning.

Marietta Loos Wagoner, age 89 of Lawrenceville, passed away early Sunday morning, April 17, 2016 in Vincennes, IN at the Good Samaritan Hospital with her family by her side. She was born July 9, 1926 in Denison Township to Harry and Hazel (Gilliatt) Loos.

Marietta was married to Theodore “Ted” Wagoner, and he preceded her in death in 1992.

She was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church for many years. Along with being a homemaker for her family, she had worked at Montgomery Ward for over 25 years. Marietta had taken classes and learned how to paint China, which she really enjoyed.

Surviving family includes: three children- Vaughn Wagoner and his wife Kathy of Bonaire, GA, Glenna Ferguson of Brick, NJ, and Lorena Nickol of Lawrenceville: one sister- Judy Loos of Lawrenceville: seven grandchildren- Beth Large, Rick Wagoner, Chris Wagoner, Tony Wagoner, Jason Ferguson, Neil Nickol, and Amber Nickol: and twelve great-grandchildren -Jesse, Jada, and Kya Large, Morgan, Grayson, Devon, Colson, and Skylar Wagoner, Emma, Ryleigh, and RJ Ferguson, and Dax Nickol.

She was preceded in death by: her husband- Theodore “Ted” Wagoner: her parents- Harry and Hazel Loos: and one great-granddaughter- Marissa Faith Wagoner.

A funeral service for Marietta Loos Wagoner will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in Lawrenceville at the Cunningham-Young Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. until service time at 5:00 p.m. Cremation will follow services.
