William “Bill” Jack Held, 61, Freelandville, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his residence. Bill was born in Knox County, the son of Ike and Joey Held. He married Virginia M. Yarbrough in 1996, and she survives him. He worked for Bill Schroeder. Bill was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ and the French Club.
Along with his wife, Virginia, Bill is survived by his sons, Ted (Sandy) Doolin of Washington and Rob (Christy) Doolin of Washington; ten grandchildren; and brother, Tom (Cindy) Held of Freelandville.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2016 from 11:00AM to 3:00 PM at Bethel Church. Funeral services will begin after visitation at 3:00 PM also at the church with Pastor Mike DeCoursey officiating. He will be laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery.
