Ralph Hill Farmer passed away on March 12, 2016 at the age of 85 in Punta Gora, Florida.

He was the son of the late Frank and Charlotte Farmer. He was employed with the JC Penny Company for 38 years and was a store manager in IL, IN, and WI.. Upon his retirement, he settled in Florida.

Ralph was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and so proud to finally be a season ticket holder after waiting 26 years. He loved IU basketball and was a proud Hoosier.

Ralph will be remembered for his fun sense of humor and the good-natured pranks he played. He was as surprised as anyone when he got a hole-in-one playing golf, and decided to not press his luck, retiring from the game after that. He was artistic, and his talents were displayed in a variety of ways, including caricatures and painting.

He was a member of the JC Penny Retirement Organization, Elks Club, Moose Lodge, American Legion, and Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

There will be a private burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Alzheimer’s Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
