PepsiCo has said it will close its local warehouse at 2680 S Old Decker Road  in Vincennes this fall.

Vincent Bozek, a public relations representative with the company, told the Vincennes Sun Commercial the warehouse will close in September, and its 60 employees will be offered a position at a new new facility in Elberfeld,

The 46,000-square-foot facility was built to Pepsi specifications in 1996. It is currently owned by Mike Cassady and Venture Investment Co.

The newspaper says Venture recently reached out to city and county officials, including Marc McNeece, president of the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, and Kent Utt, president of the Knox County Development Corp., for help in finding a new tenant for the building.
