Authorities say the body of a man who was missing after a boat capsized has been found in a reservoir in Sullivan County.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources said the body of 38-year-old Josue Franco of Fairbanks was found Wednesday in Turtle Creek Reservoir. The agency says Franco had been fishing with three other people, and a boat was reported capsized Sunday afternoon.

According to the agency, the three others were rescued by two people fishing in another boat. The three had severe hypothermia and were taken to hospitals.

The agency says Franco’s body was found roughly one-quarter of a mile from where witnesses first saw the drifting capsized boat.

An autopsy was completed Thursday at Terre Haute Regional Hospital Department of Pathology. The autopsy showed that cause of death was consistent with drowning and the manner of death was an accident. These are preliminary results pending toxicology.
