Dexter F. Hartzburg, 82, of Vincennes, passed away at the Good Samaritan Hospital on February 24, 2016.
Dexter had worked as an auto mechanic, and was a member of the Bunker Hill General Baptist Church.
Born August 28, 1933, in Knox County, IN, he was the son of Michael R. and Laura (Theriac) Hartzburg. His parents; his sons, Jeff Hartzburg and Brian Downing; his sister, Margaret Webber; and his brothers, Bill, Levi, Esco, and Bob Hartzburg preceded him.
Surviving is his wife, Rita (Parr) Hartzburg; his son, Mike Hartzburg and his wife, Teresa, of Bicknell, IN; his brother, Joe Hartzburg of Vincennes; grandchildren, Michael, Jr., Jerrod, Tyson, and Cory Hartzburg, Stephanie Cates, Grace Maulkey, and Sam Robarge; and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with Dexter’s family from 12:00 – 2:00 on Saturday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2:00. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
