An investigation into a stabbing resulted battery and domestic battery charges against 46-year-old Vernon Joseph Carie. Vincennes police arrested him in the 2600 block of Main at just before 7-pm. The charges stem from an incident earlier in the day when an unknown victim was allegedly stabbed in the chest.

-Vincennes police made a warrant arrest at 2 yesterday at 9th and Vigo. 35-year-old Travis Michael Gilbert was wanted for a parole violation and taken into custody.
