Bus crash hearing set for February in Gibson County

A hearing has been set for a lawsuit regarding the deadly van crash that happened in Gibson County last year. According to WFIE, Marianie Sanon, who was injured in the wreck, accuses Service Xpress, Ameriqual, and James and Robert Allen of Washington of responsibility for the incident, which killed two people and seriously hurt a dozen more. The hearing will be held in Posey County  Lawyers from the two companies are filing to have parts of the suit dismissed. The bus was on it’s way from Washington to Ameriqual of Evansville transporting workers of mainly Haitian descent. The bus crashed on I69 in Gibson County.
