Two people were injured in a 12:17-pm crash in Sullivan County on Tuesday.
The accident involved 3 vehicles in the northbound lanes of 41 at the railroad crossing near Sullivan County Road 850-North.
State Police report that 69-year-old Aris Houser of Shelburn was northbound in an ’09 Impala and failed to stop to avoid an ’04 Pontiac driven by 38-year-old Kevin Simpson of Linton. Simpson was topped at the red lights near the crossing. His vehicle was pushed into an ’06 Buick driven by 67-year-old Betty Cooper of Terre Haute.
Cooper and a passenger, Alamelu Emmanuel of Terre Haute were taken to Terre Haute’s Regional Hospital for treatment of neck, head and back pain. Houser and Simpson were not injured.
