Ethel May Small, 93, of Vincennes, passed away on December 26, 2015, at the New Willow Manor.
Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Vincennes, IN, she was the daughter of Walter and Clara Mae (Johnson) Combs. Her parents; her children, Boyd Small, Jerry Small, and Joy Kathleen Barnes; her sisters, Maxine Schwaber and Edith Wissel; and her brothers, Raymond, Charles, and Bob Combs preceded her.
Surviving is her daughter-in-law, Margaret Small of Vincennes; her sister, Mary Swan of Vincennes; her brothers, Tom Combs of Vincennes and Donald Combs of Kennesaw, GA; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family from 1:00 – 3:00 on Wednesday, at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway. The funeral service will begin at 3:00. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
