Indiana Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann could be the next president of Ivy Tech Community College. Ellspermann reportedly has been approached about the position. Matt Lloyd, Governor Pence’s Deputy Chief of Staff issued a statement saying; “the governor believes Ellspermann is uniquely qualified to lead Ivy Tech and strongly encouraged her to seek the position.” The school’s board of trustees has formed a search committee to find a successor to Tom Snyder, who will step down next year.
