Two face drug charges after early morning incident

Two people are facing numerous charges after Vincennes Police responded to a shoplifting complaint at the Vincennes Wal Mart early this morning.

Officers were dispatched to the department store at 2:45-am and upon investigation 25-year-old Ashley Stokes and 50-year-old Timoth J. Oesterle was arrested.  Both are charged with possession of a syringe and possession of a controlled substance.

Stokes is also charged with false informing, possession of meth, operating while never licensed, and maintaining a common nuisance.  She was also found to be wanted on an out of county warrant.

Oesterle was also charged with possession of paraphernalia and visiting a common nuisance.  Vincennes Police were assisted in their investigation by their k9 unit.
