Six Vincennes firefighters were honored during yesterday’s board of works meeting for their bravery during a fire on September 11th.
David Halter, Larry Shots, Joseph Dilley, Zachary Westfall, Ryan Thomas and Mark Allen were all awarded the mayoral service award for their bravery.
The six were all involved in the rescue of homeowner Don Bahr. Bahr was pulled out of his burning home at 210 McKenney Road on the morning of September 11th.
