Two charged after stolen vehicle is recovered

-Two people have been arrested after Vincennes Police say they recovered a stolen vehicle late Thursday morning.
Police were investigating the incident in the 500 block of State Street at 11-am. There they arrested 18-year-old Triston L. Thompson, and 21-year-old Dakota Woolard both of Vincennes. Both are charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and resisting law enforcement.
Vincennes police say they were assisted by a concerned citizen in the area who helped to apprehend one of the suspects. Also VU Police were involving in the investigation.

In other arrests…..

-Last night, 18-year-old Aaron Smith of Vincennes was arrested at 1527 Prarie Street.  Vincennes Police say he was charged with criminal trespass after a 6:40-pm incident at the address.

-At just before 4 yesterday afternoon, 24-year-old Brice Thomas Ryder of Vincennes was picked up on a warrant for failure to appear on a felony charge of burglary.  He was arrested in the 300 block of Clauss of Vincennes.

-At 6th and Vigo early Thursday, Leann M. Hicks was arrested by city police in Vincenens for theft.  The arrest took place at 1:42-am.

-38-year-old Tanner Don Martin of Lawrenceville was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 1200 block of McDowell Road in Vincennes.  Martin was wanted on a Lawrence County, Illinois warrant for failure to appear.
