Odon man charged with battery in Sunday incident

-An investigation by Odon Police resulted in the arrest of Lee Plumley of Odon on Sunday.  He’s charged with battery by means of a deadly weapon.  His bond at the Daviess County Security Center was set at $200,000.   Police reports say they were called to Plumley’s residence at 619 West Elnora Street in Odon at just after 1-am Sunday.  Plumley told police he was allegedly being harassed by Michael Allen and Plumley said he had stabbed Allen defending himself.  The police logs stated that the victim was stabbed twice in the stomach.  Air Evac was dispatched.  Plumley was booked into jail at just before 3-am Sunday on the battery charge.

A Washington man was jailed on Saturday for operating with a controlled substance and OWI with endangerment.  Bond was set at $2000.  23-year-old Brian Selby died post bond.
