Vincennes University sponsored this month’s Knox County Chamber of Commerce Lunch Bandwagon
V-U Interim President Chuck Johnson talked on a wide range of topics including his recent trip to Hong Kong. Johnson hopes that relationships that were built during his visit will lead to more international students coming to VU in the future.
Along that same line….Johnson reported that while enrollment is down on VU’s main campus by about 300 students, he’s optimistic that those numbers will rebound. He told chamber members they looking for continued growth in VU’s baccalaureate degree programs over the next five years. He says with the University’s offering of in-state tuition breaks for Illinois students should lead to greater growth.
