Lawenceville Mayor Don Wagner says plans are afoot to add new sidewalks in the city’s park next spring. The city was awarded 18-thousand dollars through a Safe Routes to School grant over a year and a half ago, but due to red tape at the state level the city is just now receiving the money.
Wagner says the other half of the funding for the project will be paid for out of the City’s TIF Zone.
Along with the new sidewalks, Wagner says they are also looking at building a new Pavilion in the city park adjacent to the pickle ball court.
