A Perry County teen disappeared without a trace 18 years ago. The case has been cold until recently. State police received a tip that the body of 13-year-old Ricky Thomas Jr may be in a lake east of Ferdinand. A dive team spent time in the lake Wednesday.
Ricky was last seen November 6, 1997, when he reportedly left his Bristow home to walk down the road to a cousin’s house about a mile-and-a-half away.
