William “Bill” Joe Cook, 83, Bicknell, IN passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015. William was the son of William Cook and Lilly “Pool” Cook. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Korean War and a Retired member of Mid Central Operating Engineers local #841. He was married to Joan F. “Veltman” Cook for 54 wonderful years.
He is survived by his wife Joan, Daughter Shelly DeLisser of Vista, CA, Sons, Christopher and wife Amy of Princeton, IN, and Collin of Loogootee, IN. Sisters, Betty Vanhoosen of Sanger, CA, Virginia and husband Wayne, of Wasco CA. and a Brother Ken and Wife Sue of Sanger CA. Nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Lilly “Pool” Cook a Brother Billy Eugene, a Son, Gary Dale and one grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM, Friday, October 2, 2015 at McClure-Utt Funeral Home, Bicknell Chapel. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM with Interment at Bicknell Memorial Cemetery.
