Donald J. Fishback, Vincennes, passed away on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital.
He was born November 20, 1940 in Vincennes the son of the late D. Muriel (Evans) and J. Donald Fishback.
Don was a graduate of Vincennes University, Indiana State University, and Indiana University School of Education. He was a teacher at Lincoln High School and a school administrator in the Tell City, Eastern Greene, and Indiana Department of Correction school systems.
Don retired from the United States Army as a Lieutenant Colonel.
Surviving is his wife of 51 years, Nova (Cox) Fishback; his son and his wife, Marc and Teresa Fishback of Brownsburg; his brother, John Michael Fishback of Chatham, IL; and his grandchildren, Hope, Grace, and Calista Fishback.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, September 18, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Ray Tromley and Rev. Phillip Walthell officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until the service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church or Gideon’s International.
