One of Indiana’s top agriculture experts is taking to the national stage. Indiana Farm Bureau President Don Villwock is retiring at the end of this year, but he’s also campaigning for the presidency of the American Farm Bureau.

The election is slated for January 12th at the AFB’s National Convention in Orlando, Florida.

Villwock, a Knox County Farmer says there are numerous agricultural issues that need to be addressed: immigration, how to boost the number of young people choosing agriculture careers and EPA regulations on farms and water.

Villwock is vying for the position against state farm bureau presidents from Oregon, Arizona and Georgia.
