In about a month, the biggest homecoming event in the state will be held in Vincennes as usual.
City Engineer John Sprauge has told the Vincennes Sun Commercial that he’s confident 2nd Street will be back open to traffic by that, but not totally complete. He says it will be done enough for us to use it with two lanes open. He also said the parade should be able to take it’s usual route. 2nd Street has been undergoing a major overhaul making downtown driving a challenge this summer.
