Multiple endangered rattlesnakes have been found in forests in southern Indiana. They are showing up in Brown County State Park and in Morgan-Monroe State Forest. The snakes tend to be passive and don’t attack unless provoked. DNR officials say to give them a wide berth and they’ll leave anybody alone.
