The Vincennes Police Department National Night out event was a success last night. The event held in towns and cities across the nation is meant to bring the police and the community together in a positive light.

Tons of community members and families came for the bounce houses, free food, and characters. Along with that several local community organizations were there spreading the word about what they have to offer. The K-9 demonstrations showed the public what the animals are capable of, as well as just how important they are to the force.
