KETA or Kids Equipped to Achieve is hosting a an even this weekend at the Washington Christian Center and Gregg Park for under privileged kids. This Saturday KETA will be handing out school supplies and toiletries to children of under privilege families. The event has been taking place for about 15 years and provides school supplies and toiletries to around 70 children. Diana Carmean Coordinator and Treasurer of KETA has been involved with the event since it started.
The event will take place from 10 AM to 1 Pm tomorrow. Cathy Scholmer President and Coordinator of KETA says along with the distribution of school supplies there will also be lots of family events taking place.
