Good Samaritan Hospital workers have volunteered their time and been busy moving patients into their new homes at Gibault Memorial tower. Not only have the patients themselves been moving, but a lot of equipment has had to relocate as well. Karen Haak (Hawk), GSH Chief Nursing Officer, says the feedback from patients has been great and they are loving their new rooms.

Last Friday the staff moved 20 ICU patients. Yesterday, 28 medical patients, including one pediatric patient, moved into their new space. The plan calls for O-B and inpatient oncology patients to be moved next Monday, followed by surgery patients on Thursday. If you are unaware of the area where your family or friend staying at GSH has been relocated to, please call the hospital at 882-5220.
