Carol Suzette (Lynn) Bunte, 75, Bruceville, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2015 at her residence. Carol was born January 4, 1940, in Daviess County, IN, the daughter of Granville and Vivian (Duzan) Lynn. She married Jerry Bunte on July 4, 1958. She worked as a secretary for Jerald Beard Accounting. She attended the Bruceville Christian Church, a member of the Bicknell French Club, the Bicknell Elks Lodge, and the Order of the Eastern Star of Plainville.
Carol is survived by her daughter, Melissa Wheatley and husband of Oaktown; son, Michael Lynn Bunte of Bruceville; grandchildren, Jeremy Wheatley of Oaktown, Jed Wheatley of Oaktown, Bryan Bunte of Wheatland, and Blake Bunte of West Union, IL; great-grandchildren, Corbin Wheatley and Josie Bunte; brother, Joe Lynn of Plainville, IN; and sister, Marilee Taylor Bynum of Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry, on May 10, 1995; and brother, Jack Lynn.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Fredrick and Son McClure-Utt Funeral Home Bruceville Chapel. Funeral services will begin after visitation at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home with Rev. Seth Alexander officiating. She will be laid to rest at Plainville Cemetery.
