A Vincennes Resident is looking to pay tribute to American Soldiers who’ve lost their lives in recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Frank Medlen Junior is a Combat Veteran who was searching for a way to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice when he struck upon the idea of planting flags in his front yard to remember Fallen Soldiers.
He’s inviting the community to stop by his home today and plant flags in his lawn to Honor our Fallen Heroes.
The event will take place at Medlen’s home at 2385 Henry Sievers Road and will start at 8 am and run through the day. He’s hoping to plant over 68-hundred flags representing those who’ve died in Iraq and Afghanistan
