A 25-year-old Evansville man has been arrested in connection with a June 13th incident in Pike County where a 14 year old boy was tied to a tree and beaten.

State Police report that Christopher Grubb is being held in the Pike County Jail on $125,000 bond.

Troopers report that on June 13th the 14 year old victim and a 17 year old male went to Grubb’s home in Evansville.  Later they decided to go for a drive

At 1:30-am on June 13th they stopped on Merdiian Road in Pike County near County Road 775– South and went for a walk in the woods.  While there, state police say that Grub allegedly used zip ties to secure the 14 year old to a tree and was questioning him about an earlier incident. He then battered the boy in the face and chest.  The 17 year old eventually took a knife way from Grubb and untied the boy.  No medical attention was required and the incident was reported later in the day. Warrants were issued after an investigation and Grubb was arrested on Monday at 2 at his Evansville Home.
