The West Nile virus has made its way into the Hoosier state as the Indiana Department of Health announced that mosquitos in three counties tested positive. Wells, Wabash, and Shelby counties all have had lab confirmed tests this year but there have been no human cases yet. The health department suggests people protect themselves by wearing bug spray containing DEET, long sleeve shirts, long pants, and getting rid of any stagnant water in your yard.
