The Vincennes Fire Department is extending its application process for the position of firefighter/EMT-First Responder. Applications can be picked up at Fire Department Headquarters at 928 Vigo Street between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. Applications will be accepted until Friday, July 10th at 4 pm. Applicants must be 21-years of age and a high school graduate or hold an equivalent degree. Candidates must also have a current Indiana First Responder or basic E-M-T Certification and a current Indiana Firefighter one or two certification.
