Peggy McDonald, 69 passed away at 5:00 am on June 22, 2015 at Oak Village Nursing Home in Oaktown. Peggy was born on November 16, 1945 in Montgomery, IN the daughter of William Jacob and Leona Pearl (VanWinkle) Farren. She married Bud McDonald and he preceded her in death.
Peggy had recently been baptized by Pastor Andy Weck. She enjoyed cooking and was a big country music fan, especially Aaron Tippin.
Survivors include her children, Richard Lee McDonald of Vincennes, Alvin Theodore McDonald of Floyds Knobs, IN, Jeffery Wayne McDonald of West Virginia, Tamara Sue Chambers of Vincennes; sister, Carolyn Kay Walls of Washington; brothers, Robert Lewis Farren of Washington, John William Farren of Washington, James Thomas Farren of Washington; eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services for Peggy will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street with Pastor Andy Weck officiating.
