After years of planning and construction, the grand opening of Gibault Memorial tower at Good Samaritan Hospital will take place on Wednesday, July 15th. The public is invited to attend the ceremony and tour the new facility.

President and C-E-O of Good Samaritan Hospital Rob McLin believes the new tower will be the jewel of Knox County and something the community can be proud of.

The grand opening festivities will begin with a ribbon cutting at 3:30 p.m., followed by opening remarks and a ceremony at 4 o’ clock and ending with guided tours from 4:30 to 7. Physicians and hospital staff will be assisting with the tours, explaining and demonstrating some of the new technology and amenities in the patient rooms.

A couple weeks following the grand opening, patients will begin to move into the new tower.
