William “Bud” Hawkins, 83, passed away at 10:13 pm on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Bud was born on December 3, 1933 in Vincennes the son of Samuel and Flossie (McGuire) Hawkins. He married Nancy Murphy on December 4, 1982.
Bud had worked in construction for the Laborers Local Union 561 and was a member of Church on the Street. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being with his family and brother.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hawkins of Vincennes; daughter, Violet Hawkins of Vincennes; and brother, Richard Hawkins of Pensacola, FL. Bud was preceded in death by his mother and father and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services for Bud will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 11, 2015 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Rev. Fred Nocus officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
