Myron E. Fellows, 90, of Bicknell, IN, passed away May 19, 2015, at BridgePointe Health Campus.
Myron was retired from Fulton Glass Co., and had also been a farmer. During WWII, he served in the US Army, and received the Purple Heart medal. He was a member of the Vincennes American Legion, Bruceville VFW, the French Club, the Bicknell Elks, and the Bruceville Rod and Gun Club.
Born December 18, 1924, in Decker, IN, he was the son of Edgar and Bessie (Myers) Fellows. His parents; his wife, Barbara “Nub” (McCord) Fellows, whom he married May 20, 1951 and who passed away February 23, 2005; sisters, Fava Montgomery, Barbara Hall, Audrey Pickel, and Marjorie Fellows; and a brother, Robert Fellows, preceded him.
Surviving are his children, Myra Peters, and her husband, Robin, of Tarpon Springs, FL, Brett Fellows, and his wife, Donna, of Oaktown, IN, and Kristie Wilson, and her husband, Rick, of Vincennes; his brother, Dennis Fellows, of Bicknell, IN; his grandchildren, Shannon Kennedy, and her husband, Chad, Holly Hudson, Lindsey Dowden, and her fiance’, Andrew Montgomery, and Brittany Wilson, and her fiance’, Kyle Gipson; and his great-grandchildren, Trevor Kennedy, Megan Kennedy, and Hoyt Montgomery.
Friends may visit with the family from 5:00 – 7:00, on Thursday, at Goodwin Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at the funeral home on Friday, at 2:00. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. A military graveside service will be conducted by the American Legion – VFW Firing Squad.
